Foxxception Launches LectioDive on Google Play, a Catholic Bible App for Praying the Daily Mass Readings

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (October 25, 2026) Foxxception LLC today announced the launch of LectioDive: Catholic Bible, a free app for reading, understanding and praying with the Word each day. LectioDive is available now on Google Play, with an iPhone version coming soon.

Lectio divina, the ancient practice of slow, prayerful reading of Scripture, is one of the Church's oldest ways to pray. LectioDive builds each day around it, starting from the Mass readings the whole Church hears that day.

Key features

• Daily Mass readings, with the saint the Church remembers, on the General Roman and USCCB calendars.
• The complete Douay-Rheims Bible, offline, in paragraphs or verse by verse.
• Study companions (Foundations and Deep Dive) for each day's readings and any chapter.
• Discover cards: passages from Scripture, the Church Fathers and the saints, quoted word for word, with explanations clearly labeled as AI-written.
• A virtual pilgrimage: walk the Camino de Santiago, the Via Francigena, the Holy Land or Marian shrines as you pray, with a quiz at each waypoint.
• Reflection questions and a private journal, a daily reminder, streaks and liturgical-color themes.

LectioDive's AI study content is a study aid, not official Church teaching, and not a substitute for your pastor.

"Most people want to read Scripture every day and stall at 'where do I start?'" said Jeremy Foxx, founder of Foxxception. "LectioDive starts where the Church starts, with today's readings, and walks you through praying with them."

Availability

LectioDive is available now as a free download on Google Play, with no account required and no ads. An iPhone and iPad version is coming soon to the App Store. Learn more at lectiodive.com.
